Israeli National Team Trials determine teams for MWC and WEC

The Israeli men's and women's national team trials were contested over the past four weeks and ended last weekend with the fifth and last event.
29 men and 6 women bowled a total of 40 games (five 8-game series) on mixed lane condition (one lane dressed with short oil, the other lane with long oil) to determine six men and three women who will represent Israel in the 2010 championships.
The women's team for the Women's European Championships in Riga, Latvia, will consist of Sarit Mizrachi, Tali Itzhak, both from SuperStrike club, and Liat Vizenfeld from Holon club.

The men's team for the Men's World Championship in Unterföhring near Munich, Germany will consist of Aviv Alfital, Holon club, Or Aviram, SuperStrike club, 62-year-old Israel Taner, Ramat Gan club, 16-year-old Omer Nehushtal, SuperStrike club, Yahav Rabin, Ramat Gan, and Moshe Shinman, Haifa club.
