Kim also had five games between 238 and 259 including a 248-227 win against Lee in the position round for 1822 8-game total, the third-highest of the day, and a 4-4 won-loss record.

The Singles gold medalist closed out her second block with games of 268 and 288, the highest game of the day, to rocket into third place with 3718 (8-8).

Milki Ng, Hong Kong, was a distant fourth but beat out the fourth Korean, Kim Yeon Ju for fourth place by 21 pins, 3629 to 3608.

The top 16 in All Events (combined results in Singles, Doubles and Team) advanced to the Masters finals on Monday and Tuesday. All 16 players bowled 15 games of round robin match play plus 1 game position round (10 pins bonus per win, 5 for a tie) to determine the top 3 players who advanced to the stepladder final.

31 girls from 8 countries - Australia, China, DPR Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia and Singapore - will compete for gold, silver and bronze medals in Singles, Doubles, 4-player Team, All Events and Masters.
