Malaysia sets the pace in Boys Team event at 15th Asian Youth Championships

2010AsYCBoysTeamMalaysia.jpgAris Ardilla Santosoh, Khoo Beng Khai, Johnathan Chan and Syimir Abdul Razak of Malaysia averaged 217.75 on the long oil pattern to lead the Boys 4-player Team event in the 15th Asian Youth Tenpin Bowling Championships in Kuwait after 3 of 6 games with 2613 pinfall total.

Singapore is 62 pins behind in second place with 2551 and Japan is just one pin behind in third with 2550.

The final 3-game block on short oil will determine the gold medals in Team and All Events and also the top 16 players for the Masters finals on Monday and Tuesday.

58 boys from 15 countries - Australia, China, DPR Korea, Egypt, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Macau, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and UAE - will compete for gold, silver and bronze medals in Singles, Doubles, 4-player Team, All Events and Masters.
