Nicki Ainge overtakes lead in 2009 EBT Women's Ranking

With a second-place finish among 36 women in the Ebonite International Luxembourg Open, 23rd overall, Nicki Ainge (pictured left), England, overtook the lead in the 2009 European Bowling Tour women's ranking. Ainge received 40 ranking points in the EBT challenger event to take the lead with 431 ranking point total.
Nicole Sanders (right), Netherlands, who ousted Ainge in the Round of 32 in Luxembourg en route to win the women's rankings got 50 points to move into second place with 415 points.
Previous leader, defending champion Nina Flack, Sweden, did not compete in Luxembourg and slipped to third place with 400 points.

Rounding out the top 10 is Patricia Luoto, Germany, with 286.

The European Bowling Tour takes a five-week break before heading to England for the 14th and penultimate event. The Ebonite English Open, an EBT Challenger tournament, will be held from Dec. 2-6 at Lakeside Superbowl Nuneaton.
