2009 WWC
850 Las Vegas Blvd North in Las Vegas, NV 89101
The USBC Open Championships Lanes at Cashman Center is a specially constructed bowling arena that includes 60 lanes, stadium spectator seating, multiple pro shops, large state-of-the art scoring screens built above the lanes and much more.
The construction of the venue began in December 2008 and it took nearly 45 days to complete. The first event which was held on the brand new lanes was the USBC Masters, a major event on the Professional Bowlers Association Tour, from Feb. 9-15.
The USBC Open Championships were held from Feb. 21-July 24 and featured over 80,000 bowlers from across the world competing in team, doubles, singles and all-events for nearly $7 million U.S. in prize money.
Before the temporary lanes will be removed, Cashman Center will host the 2009 Women's World Championships from July 24 through Aug. 3, 2009.
