No changes atop the leaderboard in EBT rankings after Barcelona

Defending European Bowling Tour ranking champions Osku Palermaa (left)(, Finland, and Nina Flack (right), Sweden, held on to the lead in the 2009 men's and women's rankings though they did not compete in the 9th stop, the 31st Trofeu Internacional Ciutat de Barcelona, Spain.
There were no changes among the top 10 men and women in the rankings though some players changed positions.
Palermaa continued to lead the men's division with 334 ranking points. Martin Larsen, Sweden, is now tied for second place with Dominic Barrett, England, at 324.

3-time EBT ranking champion and EBT Masters winner Paul Moor (left), England, moved into 4th place with 293. Dennis Eklund, Sweden, leaped from 7th to 5th with 273. Rounding out the top 10 are two Norwegians (Mads Sandbækken, Tore Torgersen) two Swedes (Robert Andersson, Tobias Karlsson) and Dane Jesper Agerbo.
PBA super star Mika Koivuniemi (right), Finland, who won the title in Barcelona, is currently in 18th place with 130 points out of the last two events (30 in San Marino and 100 in Barcelona).

in Las Vegas next week, has a 20-point buffer over second-placed Nicole Sanders (left), Netherlands, with 314 to 294 points.

The top 16 men and the top 16 women at the end of the 2009 EBT season will qualify for the EBT Masters to be held in Vienna, Austria, from May 3-4, 2010.
The European Bowling Tour takes a seven-week break before heading to Rollhouse Bowling Center in Ankara, Turkey, for the Ankara Open from September. 5-13, 2009. The Ankara Open was supposed to be the Tour's sole "Premier" event but has changed its status to "Major" after reducing the prize money in June.
