The title matches of the Girls and Boys Singles competition at the 22nd European Youth Championships in Malmo, Sweden, featured the No. 1 seed vs. the No. 2 seed, and both top seeds cruised to the title with big games. In the Girls finale, Joline Persson Planefors, Sweden, flew past Chantal Jacobs, Netherlands, 255-203, to easily win the gold medal. Arturs Levikins, Latvia, fired a 279 in the semis, then edged equally tough Mik Stampe, Denmark, in the boys title match, 266-254.
