Two-time defending ranking champion Osku Palermaa, Finland, regained the lead in the men's ranking.

Ginge finished in third place in the Brunswick Euro Challenge yesterday and was the best of 75 women in the 314 player field while Luoto finished sixth. Both have 170 ranking points. Previous leader Nicole Sanders, Netherlands, slipped to third with 158 points after failing to advance to the finals.

Barrett did not compete in Paris. Dane Jesper Agerbo leaped from 9th into third place with 148.

The top 16 men and the top 16 women at the end of the 2009 EBT season will qualify for the EBT Masters to be held in Vienna, Austria, from May 3-4, 2010.

The EBT Tour takes a two-week break before heading to Turkey for the EBT "Major" 6th Istanbul Bowling Open at Timeout Bowling Center in Istanbul from March 30 - April 5, 2009.
