2008EBT15NinaFlack_small.jpg Nina Flack (left) from Sweden defeated Tore Torgersen, Norway, 234-216, to win the 5th Oltremare Columbia 300 Open in Naples, Italy, and to overtake the lead in the EBT women's rankings. The World and European champion didn't need her eight pins handicap to become the second woman this season to win an EBT open title. Flack pocketed 10.000 Euro for accomplishing the feat. In an all-Norwegian semifinal, Torgersen topped Mads Sandbækken by a whisker, 280-279. Sandbækken eliminated Martin Paulsson, Sweden, in the opening match, 202-191. The 2008 EBT will conclude with the English Open and Qatar Open in December.
