Storm named presenting sponsor of 2008 USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships

Storm Bowling Products, Inc., has been named the presenting sponsor of the 2008 United States Bowling Congress Intercollegiate Team Championships, which will be held April 16-19 at Northrock Lanes in Wichita, Kan.
The USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships, contested annually since 1975, is the pinnacle event of the college bowling season with the top 16 men's and top 16 women's teams in the country vying for national titles.
"We're excited to be the official sponsor of such a great tournament. Many of our sport's top athletes today are a product of the experiences they gained through the collegiate bowling program," said Steve Kloempken, marketing director for Storm Bowling Products, Inc. "At Storm, we recognize the hard work and dedication it takes to be a champion. And you'll be hard pressed to find a tournament which exemplifies these values more so than at this tournament."

Qualifying for the national finals will be held on March 15-16 at four sectional sites: Allentown, Pa.; Chattanooga, Tenn.; Fairview Heights, Ill., and Las Vegas. Teams placed in sectionals will bowl 64 Baker games over two days, with the top four men's and top four women's teams from each sectional advancing to the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships presented by Storm.
