Second gold medal for Korea in 2nd Asian Indoor Games

The men's doubles titles in the 2nd Asian Indoor Games at COTAI International Sports Complex in Macau, China was decided between the two top-seeded teams.
No. 2 seeded Choi Bok Eum and Park Min Su, Korea, saved their best fort he last match and flew past No. 1 seeded Somjed Kusonpithak and Yannaphon Larp-apharat, Thailand, 521-416, to win the second gold medal for Korea in the third event.
Bok Eum, the top seed in Men's Singles and winner of the bronze medal, fired a huge 297 game to putt he match away well before the final frame.
Daiki Ikeda/Masaaki Takemoto, Japan, and Nayef Eqab Alabadla/Shaker Al Hassan shared the bronze medal. The top 8 of 37 doubles after six games on the long oil pattern advanced to the single-game single elimination finals.
The Koreans topped Doha Asian Games champions Hassan Al-Shaikh and Bader Al-Shaikh, Saudi Arabia, 437-406.
The competition will continue with the women's doubles on Tuesday and will conclude with the men's and women's 4-player team events on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (finals).
