Indonesia earned an historic result at the 19th Asian Tenpin Bowling Championships, sharing the overall title with South Korea. Both countries bowled their way to three golds, three silvers and two bronzes at the week-long event that ended Tuesday at the Ancol lanes in North Jakarta.

Wu Siu Hong (pictured) ended the 19th Asian Tenpin Bowling Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia, with victory in the men's Masters finals. Siu Hong, who leaped from seventh to first during the second block of match play on short oil, flew past Alex Liew, Malaysia, 506-414, to win the prestigious title. Liew, seeded third, mowed down local favorite Ryan Lalisang, in the opening match, 267-214. Liew earned silver and Lalisang took bronze.

In an all-Korean affair, Nam Bo-Ra (pictured) topped No. 1 seed Kim Yeau-Jin, 394-379, to win the women's Masters crown in the 19th Asian Tenpin Bowling Championships at Jaya Ancol Bowl in Jakarta, Indonesia. Bo-Ra, seeded second, ousted Ayano Katai, Japan, in the opening match, 201-195. Yeau-Jin earned the silver medal and Katai received bronze.

Malaysia's  Azidi Ameran (pictured) claimed the gold medal in men's All Events with 5171 24-game total and an average of 215,46. Saeed Al Hajri from Qatar earned the silver medal with 5092 while Singles champion Ryan Lalisang beat out former World Champion and World Cup winner Ahmed Shaheen, Qatar for the bronze medal. The top 16 men and the top 16 women in All Events advanced to the Masters finals.

Singles gold medalist Putty Armein (pictured) from the host country of Indonesia won her second gold medal in the 19th Asian Championships when she captured the title in women's All Events with 5173 pinfall total and an average of 215,54. Kim Yeau Jin of Korea finished with 4941 pinfall total to claim the silver medal. Japan's long-time international Ayano Katai posted 4865 to secure the bronze medal.

Azidi Ameran, Daniel Lim, Adrian Ang, Mohd Noer Said, Alex Liew and Ben Heng won the gold medal in the men's five-player team event at the Asian Championships in Indonesia. The Malaysians felled 6183 pins over six games. Qatar earned the silver medal with 6105. Short oil leader Japan slipped to third place with 6074.

The Korean women's team with Hwang Sun Ok, Kim Hyo Mi, Gang Hye Eun, Nam Bo Ra, Kim Yeau Jin and Gye Min Young posted the highest 3-game series on short and on long oil to win the gold medal in the 19th Asian Championships at Jaya Ancol Bowl in Jakarta, Indonesia. The host country of Indonesia took silver and Japan bronze.

Overnight leaders Abdulla Al Qattan, Ahmed Shaheen and Saeed Al Hajri from Qatar (r-l) cruised to victory in the men's trios event at the 19th Asian Championships. Malaysians Azidi Ameran, Daniel Lim and Alex Liew beat out Kao Hai-Yuan, Cheng Fang-Yu and Ku Ching-Ho from Chinese Taipei for the silver medal by 6 pins.

Starting the day in fifth place, Chien Hsiu-Lan, Tsai Hsin-Yi and Wang Yu-Ling (l-r) of Chinese Taipei, rolled games of 688, 616 and 574 on short oil to capture the title in the women's trios event in the 19th Asian Championships at Jaya Ancol Bowl in Jakarta, Indonesia. The champions posted a 3701 pinfall total and averaged 205,61 for six games. Silver and bronze went to Korea.

After a slow start into the Men's Doubles event, Singapore's Jason Yeong Nathan and Carl De Vries (r-l) came up strong to win the gold medal at the 19th Asian Championships in Indonesia with 2638 pinfall total. The highlight came in game five when Nathan rolled a 300-game and De Vries added 264 for a huge 564-score. Chinese Taipei's Yang Nien-Hua and Cheng Chao-Yu combined for 2562 to take the silver medal. Abdulla Al-Qattan and Ahmed Shaheen of Qatar were mere six pins behind to earn the bronze medal with 2556.

Korea's Hwang Sun Ok and Kim Yeau Jin finished the Women's Doubles event at the 19th Asian Championships with games of 420, 419 and 421 to beat out Indonesia's Singles gold and silver medalists Putty Armein and Tannya Roumimper for the gold medal by ten pins. The Koreans checked in with 2486 six-game total and an average of 207,17. The Indonesians settled for silver behind a 371 low-game in game six with 2476. Kanako Ishimine and Maki Nakano from Japan took the bronze medal with 2408 pinfall total.

Ryan Lalisang, Indonesia, claimed the gold medal in the Men's Singles event at the 19th Asian Tenpin Bowling Championships. Lalisang posted a 1365 six-game total and averaged 227,50 to follow in the foot prints of team mate Putty Armein (pictured), who won the title in the women's division. Japan's Tomokatsu Yamashita finished second. Bronze went to Lee Young Jun of Korea.
