
Nine countries, Cyprus, Gibraltar, Greece, Israel, Italy, Malta, San Marino, Spain and Turkey have sent four-player teams, two men and two women, to compete in the
VII Mediterranean Challenge Cup at bowling center "Odissea 2000" in Rome, Italy.
Sue Abela (pictured) of Malta (3 gold, 1 silver) and
Marco Reviglio of Italy (2 gold, 1 silver) were the winningest players in the women's and men's division. Malta was the leading country based on gold medals with 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze.
