
United States' Andrew Koff, Zack Hattori, Chris Via and Marshall Kent followed in the footprints of the U.S. girls and defeated Singapore, 889-807, to capture the coveted title in the Boys four-player Team event at the 12th World Youth Championships. Like in the girls division Singapore had to settle for the silver meal while top-seeded Sweden and Germany, seeded second, shared bronze. None of the six top seeds in this Championships have won the gold medal.
