Tseng beats Australia's Sam Cooley in the title match of the 10th Euro-Med Storm International Masters Challenge

USD24,200). Cooley pocketed 500,000 pesos for second place, Javier Tan of Singapore received 250,000 peso for third place and USA's Tim Mack garnered 125,000 Peso for fourth place.

Takahashi, Sato triumph in NHK Cup 47th Japan All-Star Invitational Championships

The champions are considered the best bowlers in Japan.

One day after he won the 15th Sinai International Open at IBC, Hashem became the first Egyptian bowler to win an ABF Tour title.

Ayman Hashem, Korngunya Aree take different routes to Sinai Open title

Hashem and Aree entered the men's and women's stepladder finals at different ends of the spectrum, seeded No. 1 and No. 4, resp. The top seeded player had to be defeated twice to win the title. The top 16 Asian men advanced to the Egypt leg of the 2013 ABF Tour.

Strike Bowl Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi, Thailand. Cooley earned his first title on the tour with a 237-195 victory over local favorite Dechochai Tinjiratip. Chai defeated Sharon Limansantoso in the women's title match, 216-188, for her fourth career ABFT title.

Big payday for Phumin Klanbida in 'Thailand the Master'

Kim (r.) earned 100,000 Baht and Al-Hassan (l.) received 300,000 Baht for accomplishing the feat. The biggest pay check, however, went to Thai youth bowler Phumin Klanbida, who pocketed 350,000 Baht (approx. USD 12,125) for winning the 'Thailand the Master' tournament.

The USBC silver level coach (pictured), who won his last title in March 2012 in Bahrain, defeated Samantha Hannan of England, 254-221 (including eight pins handicap), to win the title and the 25,000 Dirham first place check ($6,800). Hannan, one of only two women in the 63-player field, was consoled with AED 12,000.

Reigning PBA Player of the Year captures his sixth career PBA title

Rash, who won his sixth career PBA title, Rash struck eight times and took advantage of a big split by Koivuniemi in the 10th frame to seal the victory. Koivuniemi was consoled with $12,000.

Bahraini paces field of 82 players after each block in Round One; leads 38 into the finals rounds; four women survive the first cut

Falah, who held a 105-pin lead heading into the final block on Friday, averaged 240.60 and toppled 1203 pins to finish Round One with 3788 total and an average of 252.53 for fifteen games. The winner received the $25,000 top prize.

In the high-scoring event, Falah fired games of 268, 259, 290, 255 and 257 for 1329 to hold a 41-pin lead over reigning PBA Player of the Year, Sean Rash, USA, who sits in second place with 1288 (257.60). The second and third block will be played on Thursday and Friday, March 14 and 15, respectively.

Jabbar (r.) of Bahrain, 245-191, to win the season-opening event of the 2013 Asian Bowling Federation Tour Saturday at Ozone Entertainment Center in Bahrain. It was the fifth career ABF Tour title for the UAE bowler, who has won titles in Kuwait (2008, 2010), Thailand (2009) and the 2010 ABF Tour Tournament of Champions.

Koivuniemi, seeded first, fell to Ruiz in the first game of the championship match, 207-201. As the No. 1 seed must be defeated twice to win the title, Koivuniemi got a second chance and took full advantage.

Qatar's Yousef Al-Jaber leads Final Round Two and Three at Bahrain International Open

Yousef Al-Jaber (pictured), who finished qualifying in 24th place, led both rounds averaging 243.42 for the day. The Qatari rolled a 1449 six-game series (241.50) to lead the top six players of Round Two into the next round where he posted another 1472 (245.33). The top 6 of Round Three meet qualifiers 7-12 in Round Four on Friday morning.

The eleven-time PBA titlist shot a perfect game in each of the two eight-game qualifying blocks to win the qualifying with 3915 total (244.69 average). The bowlers seeded 19th to 30th will start the finals on Thursday at 10 a.m. Arabia Standard Time.
